Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon Grand Feu's 42mm 5N rose gold case follows the brand's minimalist and refined Marine Torpilleur motif, a balanced blend of classic and modern elements. The elegantly narrow coin-edged bezel leaves as much visual space as possible for the dial, while the wide tapered lugs inject a touch of a more modern spirit into the image. In the spirit of maximizing the view inside the watch, Ulysse Nardin has equipped the Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon Grand Feu with a sapphire display caseback (sadly, the brand cannot provide a picture of the caseback for this watch before press time). Ulysse Nardin uses the self-developed UN-128 constant-speed automatic flying tourbillon movement to power the Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon Grand Feu. In addition to the aforementioned constant-force flying tourbillon escapement, the UN-128 Constant makes extensive use of high-tech silicon in most of its designs and offers a power reserve of 60 hours at a steady 18,000 bph beat. To complete the package, the brand paired the watch with a classic black alligator leather strap.
